Random Events	Can't Post

How do they work now? I've been cooking some fish and I noticed I kept getting random events I never used to get while cooking.

What I'm most interested in, is do they spawn while you're doing nothing? I remember dying and losing a dragon med (When they were worth something), because I went afk next to a bank and a random event killed me.

Most random events don't hurt you anymore. Most, or all of them, just teleport you to a room where you have to complete an event to get out. If you get out successfully, they give you a surprise box. If you get out unsuccessfully, then you get teleported to a random spot in Misthalin, which can be very annoying. I don't recall getting one of those strange plants since probably late 2007. But I'm unsure if they're still around.

Just search for a guide for something and make sure it's updated.

Random events, are random.
Anyone can get one, anytime, anywhere.
There has been some speculation that Randoms don't target Players that don't seem like they're autoing, this is bullshit
And all killing randoms have been removed

I still get shades every now and then, so the evil chicken and poison plants should still be a possibility.

there are no more attacking random events

only ones that tele you

perhaps shade is still there since it is only activated by bones
