Hardest Final Boss	Can't Post

What is the hardest final boss on a game... or second final if its fixed... no Weapons or that penance thingy. The Final boss.
Mine was FFVIII with Ulimecia when she knew maelstrom and gravirja. And 4 FECKING FORMS.

To be quite honest I never racked my brain trying to defeat any final fantasy boss, I've died a number of times, but it was never anything I'd classify as "hard." So I'm going to shift the gears to Star Ocean TTEOT's final boss, Freya. 20,000,000 health, with all elemental damage received, halved. She can attack many times in succession, and is capable of taking large amounts of HP, MP (both can kill you), paralyzing, confusing, and draining fury (energy), all at the exact goddamn time, and to your entire group if you are close together. The only thing that kept me sane was being able to pause and go away for a bit.

It may be that I just suck, but FF8's was probably my hardest.

I agree with you on that point because Sephiroith wasn't too bad but he was cool TBH. Sly

But I think that Ultimicia is the hardest as it just takes FOREVER to kill her. Typical Sorceress...

Still has yet to be killed..
People attack this in boss masses of hundreds at once.. all of them fall very short of actually killing it.

I think this ones the hardest partly because it has yet to be killed even once.. and because, unlike the other FFXI GAMES, you dont have turn based game play to plan your attacks, or real time with dumb NPC's to help you kill it.... this ones in real time with other people from all around the world, all of which have studied it and found its weakest places for them to attack and know how to play their roll better than anyone else... and hundreds of them instead of just a hand full... and they still cant kill it.

EDIT: there are impossible bosses in the game too with things like AOE attacks, which have the effect of "Instant Death"... im not counting them because you cant really consider something invincible a boss... thats more like a god.. which Gods in FFXI are, ironically, relatively easy to kill Smile

yea.. thats the Jailer Of Love... which is like a minion to Absolute Virtue which usually takes 16-18 hrs to kill if you have enough experienced and fully merited people

haha i wouldn't be surprised... i know people we're getting sick and shmit from some of the fights.... waaaay too intense for me... longest fight i ever did was 6 hours... and it only took that long because some of the guys had noooo clue what they were supposed to do... i mean seriously... 6hrs for Kirin? thats retarded....
