Why the hell does everyone on Halo 3 like a lot of short 5-10 minute long GAMES?

What ever happened to the hour long vehicle fest in blood gulch? I hate GAMES that end before I start.

Naw I'm kidding, I agree, a lot of GAMES would be much more fun if they lasted longer.

Play Day of Defeat. If you get a full server and a good game going, the average time is somewhere between excruciating and murderous. If it gets slightly imbalanced it is a minute or two.
