An interesting idea (Spoilers involved) Can't Post

I originally saw this on a comment at youtube. What if Halo is a prequel to Marathon?

From what I have heard about marathon, a super human cyborg (duh) crashes on a planet and has to kill all the aliens. Well... At the end of Halo 3, if you beat it on legendary, you saw a planet behind the cheifs ship. Put two and two together and...

There is a snag though. Marathon takes place in 2700 something, not 2553.

Post your views on this. I'll read more about marathon, and i might even download it.

I doubt it, but I am sure that there is going to be another series involving the chief but it will not have to do with halo's at all.

No, Bungie specifically said that Halo and Marathon are on two different "universes".
