Halo 3 - Plot ideas?	Can't Post

Before anything else, if there is a post such as "Da Masta Cheef iz goin too kik azz lolz" I will scream.

Thoughts on any of the possible plot developements we might see? If Halo 3 is the last one in the franchise, then we'll finally learn why only Humans are Reclaimers, who keeps releasing the Flood (because let's face it, it isn't the Covenant, 'cause they're not THAT stupid), where the Ark is, whether Humans are Forerunners or not, what the hell Gravemind is, what the Flood are (besides voracious pods that mutate people), why the Forerunners didn't just kill all of the Flood instead of preserving them to study, and why the Covenant hate Humanity so much. We should also find out what Col. Ackerson is doing, and why Dr. Halsey kidnapped Kelly and bugged out to somewhere outside of human-controlled space.

I listed some themes that I hope will be wrapped up - over to you guys now to come up with guesses on the answers.

I am a huge advocate of a human air vehicle. Either a Pelican with a chingun and missile pods, or a SkyHawk jumpjet (which would be absolutely fantastic).

Gravemind is I think the reference to the key? No clue...
The flood escape themselves because remember, the forerunners were wiped out by the ring, and that means the floods containment centers are centuries old.. Also the forerunners didnt destroy the flood because they couldnt, so they tried to contain it and learn more about their weakness, until those dumb asses activated Halo and blew themselves to dust.

apparently my friend thinks its cortana cause shes going AI insane. seems resonable to me cause the books always talked about her memory being low after the first halo.

Your friend is wrong. The Flood were already released before Cortana was put into the Control Room or Keyes started his doomed mission. Note that Keyes and his group found dead Covenant killed by plasma weapons, the Covenant had tried to lock down the door to what I call the 'infection form room', and Cortana realized that the Captain was in danger from the Flood - something that would not be the case if the Flood were still contained.

It can't be 343 GS - I don't think that he's THAT whacked out. The Covenant are stupid, but not THAT stupid, in my opinion (although they could be). So who's doing it?

Its easy to figure out whats next on Halo 3 we will have to destroy the arch that they discussed at the end of #2. When we destroy the arch all of the halos will be destroyed. Either that or we will have to destroy all of the halos which would take up to Halo 7 then there would be an 8 where we destroy the arch.

If they make that many Halos, I'll kill everybody at Bungie. How would that be fun, same thing over and over, crash a starship on it. Fight lots of aliens. Uncover Flood. Fight more aliens, sentinels and flood. Blow up ships fusion reactors. Be the only one to escape but just barely. Find the next one. :P

Maybe they can add a conflict within the marines For them to have something against each other. So Humans would Fight Humans. Itd be fun. (I love blowin up the marines Wink

Some do. Some are Australian as well. There are (I forget) about 2-3 Marine voices.

And don't knock the Human v. Human war bit. That's a popular and fairly possible development - Ackerson makes his move after the end of the Covenant war, using the S-IIIs to eliminate potential opponents (i.e. Hood and the S-IIs), while employing military personnel loyal to him to faciliate a general takeover of the UNSC. Because come on, you know that you secretly enjoy killing the marines in single-player. I know I do. Tongue

I think everybody enjoys killing marines, ESPECIALLY when they are being dumb, I usually let them get raped by Covies. Laugh

And I wasn't knocking the idea, I just felt like poking fun at it, Human vs Human would actually make the story quite interesting.
