What is your least fav. lvl? Can't Post
What is your least favorite level on Halo 1? I am on the lvl The Flood (just got it on christmas) and so far that is my least fav. lvl. 'cause of all the marine zombie type things

The Flood is cool. I laugh because you are about to discover THE WORST LEVEL IN THE WORLD. The level after The Flood is called The Library, and it is BAD.

Essentially, the Bungie team decided "Hmm, let's make a mindlessly repetative area in which we throw attackers at a player from every possible angle!" You go through door after door after door. Everything looks the same, the creatures keep coming, and it TAKES FOREVER. I am beating Halo again on my new computer, and I've had to stop at that level because it's just boring the hell out of me. It's not particularly challenging, it's just always the same, again and again and again and again.

Oh, and is that what those mini brain suckers are called, The Flood?

I would understand that because they literally FLOOD the place

Yep. The Flood is the name for the infection forms (the little dudes that blow up with one bullet), the combat forms (the ones that whale on you with their arms, or shoot you with any weapon) and the carrier forms (the ones that run up to you and then detonate, doing grenade damage and releasing a lot of infection forms).

I hate them all... give me the Covies any day of the week.

Covenant. Most people that I know call them the Covies, and I think it's a term from the books as well.

Oh, w8, now i remember. They attack all of thos covies in then tunnel. So unless they once were, and then turned on them, thats a no.

Infection forms: the 'generic' Flood. They are the base that all can form either of the two 'infected' forms.

Combat forms: Humans or Elites who had the misfortune to be jumped by an infection form. They attack with melee or captured weaponary.

Carrier forms: where Infection forms come from. These are Jackals or Grunts who had the misfortune to be jumped by an infection form. They detonate when they reach a certain proximity to you or when they are 'killed'. Detonation does damage equivalent to a grenade, and releases anywhere from 2-8 (unsure about the numbers) Infection forms to play.

UGH! I hate the Library, thankfully the Library in Halo 2 is a lot better. One thing I like about the Library is waiting until the Flood is standing on the glass panels on the floor, then shoot out the glass, saves lots of bulletsTongue. BTW, the big muscular looking combat form flood are infected Elites, and the skinny combat forms are infected humans.
