Why is it Can't Post
That Halo Xbox has better graphics then Halo PC, the teleporters look more detailed, the assault rifle has lighting on it, everything is so detailed while Halo PC has a simple teleporter, no lighting on the assault rifle, and less detail.

This is the Xbox version of Halo, you can see that the assault rifle is really detailed.


This the PC version of Halo, everything is on, using Pixel Shader 2.0.
You can see that the assault rifle looks really simple.

It looks like on the PC version he is standing in the shade so it's darker but I might be wrong.

I have Halo PC with a top of the line graphics card, full particles, shadows, and other things turned on, and it looks glorious. Better than your TV too I bet.

If your computer sucks then generally yes the graphics will be less intense.

PS = Pixel Shader 2.0
I have an Integrated video card, it's the Intel 82915G/GV/910GL otherwise known as the Intel GMA 900.

And I said that it's an integrated card and no matter what it supports, it still sucks balls. I had an integrated card on my old computer that supported Photoshop CS, and I still had black and white elites. Then I purchased a new computer and my eyes popped.

And no I don't want a video because it would be dependant on your video card, my video card (to display it) and the screencapture software you used to make the video. Screenshots of the same thing would be better.

The reason I seem to be jumping down your throat is that I despise people who bash the PC Halo version and promote the console version. And of course I despise Console gamers in general except for Xbox gamers - see the above for the Xbox gamers whom I despise.

I don't know - it's a youtube video and super compressed. I said, screenshots are a MUCH better idea because they are accurate captures of graphics at a given moment.

You know your wrong right? You can't extend the graphics of your game with a very high end graphics card.. Theres a maximum of what the game can put out.. and I'm betting that you both hit that maximum because its not all that great.

Darkdemon is right, and the graphics discrepancy is a business thing.

They wanted Halo PC out for the largest number of PC gamers as possible, and the only way to make it run on more PC's is to make it less graphic intensive. They already know that everyone with an Xbox can run it at full potential, because there is no such thing as a Xbox with a deferior graphics card. Everyone who has a Xbox can play halo, while not everyone with a PC can play Halo. They merely wanted to lower the system req'sto allow the game to be as many people as possible, and make more money.

Yes, they can be perfect. Megapixels? What are you talking about. A Megapixel is just 1000 pixels. There are pixels on gaming systems too, they aren't 'just for computers'. Also, shadow has nothing to do with it. You can clearly see the lack of texture on the PC version of the game, unobstructed by shadow.
