i live in south dakota and im the 2nd person that bought the halo books and i have been loning them out to my friend but anyway on the first strike what happened to the other spartan and why was it not on halo 2

Which 'other Spartan'? Linda, the sniper with red hair? She was clinically dead (as are many accident victims in the real world) but Master Chief cryogenically froze at the end of The Fall of Reach. Later, in First Strike, her cryotube was recovered by Master Chief from the debris surrounding the battleground where the PoA fought her last battle. Dr. Halsey performed extensive surgery and was able to restore Linda to life and relative health.

And someone else that lives in Calgary other than me, but enough of that, we're talking about the Halo books, which I quite enjoyed. And I'm not that impressed that people have read the books, millions have.
