I prefer the ghost because 1: its cooler, and 2: if your a good driver you can take out anything with it Including tanks. Its also great for running stuff over. Tongue

Um... it's the same colour as the banshee, so that's kind of a bad reason to choose it over the banshee. Also, if your a good driver in the banshee, you can take anything with it, including tanks and ghosts. The ghost has a blind spot right above it, and the banshee can blast it with it's cannon. Tongue

and there is another weak spot on the ghost its a circle thing on the left/right side. its so weak you can hit it with a magnum!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

p.s its a good firework show if you use lots of ghosts Laugh

I'd go with the ghost. It has a good weapon and it's pretty fast.

It was a creed, written in the founding documents...

'Shee, all the way. Especially the Halo 1 'Shee, with the Fuel Rod Cannon. That sucker is mean in bombarding the enemy/dogfighting. Like, if you see a clump of enemies, fire the Cannon into them and watch them all die. If your enemy is hiding in a cave, fire the Cannon into the cave and watch his body come flying out. Use it to take down vehicles, especially Tanks. In dogfighting, a solid hit with the Cannon can either take down your enemy or hurt him enough that your Plasma Cannons can finish him. Of course, very few people are stupid enough to fly in a straight line, so it's not easy to hit them.

In Halo 1 it's both (at least for PC, I dunno about Xbox).

True but its a lot easier too to take out a banshee in a tank when a ghost can duck below the hill and strafe. Banshees is halo one have to Fly straight forward or twisting around like theyre drunk.

Wha? I don't care HOW good of a driver you are - trying to take down a Scorpion with a Ghost is a baaaaad idea. One shot from the cannon and you're toast.

Indeed, the scorpion is really powerfull. But if you go close enough to him, he cant hit you and you can shoot him untill he dies.

Edit: Yes I do more kills with the scorpion but not with the banshee.

True but the plasma shots slow you down. If you keep strafing the right way the cannon wont matter.

That may be true for Halo 1, but not 2. In Halo 2 you can barrel roll or back flip with the banshee, which allows you to dodge rockets, tis fun.

Also, there is no banshee in Halo 1 multiplayer for Xbox, and thats the way i like it.
