Andy's Guide to Multi-Tasking

Please REMEMBER AFKING IS AGAINST THE RULES UNLESS YOU ARE AT YOUR COMPUTER.
RULE #7:
From RuneScape.com:
AFK training is Away From Keyboard training. While you are playing on RuneScape, you must be at the computer. Away from keyboard training is not allowed, and you should log out when you leave the computer.

What is Multi-Tasking?

watching videos or somewhat and not being very active in RuneScape, but staying online, Such as taking out the dog, while training.

Starting Multi-Tasking

The timer on logging out, Is 1 Minute and 30 seconds.

Combat:
The bandit's in the desert are great for afking,Multi-tasking wear guthans and give them a rip, bring rune also, but you will be more active on RS if you want to bring rune, but it saves guthan repairs.

If they are full, Spiders at the Security Stronghold are about the same exp just stand in a spot where you only get 1-2 at a time.

Cooking:
Plain and simple. Cook at rouges den, Watch for strange plants, and remember you have 1:30 to move the mouse each time.

Fletching :
Simple too, Cut and string, but remember Stringing requires a bit of activity.

Smithing:
Smithing bars is insanely boring, Just watch out for randoms and the timer logout.

Woodcutting:
Ents are the worst, other then that you will do fine.

While doing the skill, you might become bored, and this is where multi-tasking comes along

Nice tip I suppose. Other than it being against the rules I think it's alright.

Isn't that like, a contradiction?

Haha.

But yeah, seeing as jagex can't tell if you're at your keyboard or not I guess they'd just judge on activity in the rs applet.

However, I don't think I've heard of anyone being banned afking

It'd probably be better if you download a divx codec/player and then got the 700mb avi movies off limewire while you sleep. Then you could watch em while you scape. Streaming most likely wont be as good quality + you dont have the movie at the end of it.

Any game in which you have to amuse yourself through other means while playing it is just pointless.

1. an amusement

If the game doesn't amuse you by itself, it sucks.

Limewire sucks at filtering. I search for slipknot video clips and get horse porn.

Then use FrostWire or Isohunt.org and torrent them.
