Meh, I'll answer.
1 - What is your age, gender, location?
18, male, Ontario, Canada
2 - How often do you play Runescape?
It really, really depends on whats going on. This week I have played about every other day, for about 3 hours each day. Two weeks earlier I spent about 6 hours playing a day. I have no set playing time, I don't revolve my life around GAMES, I fit them in when I can.
3 - How long have you been playing Runescape for?
A long time, I started playing in late 2001, or early 2002.
4 - What originally attracted you to Runescape?
My best friend showed me it about a month after I got my first computer. I played to keep in touch with a great friend, who I still play with.
5 - Do you find it easier to communicate with others while playing Runescape?
Generally no. I find I am much more talkative and social when I am with people in real life. I tend to be very quiet and keep to myself while playing GAMES. Although I am the complete opposite in real life, and never judge someone before meeting them, I do judge people online. I have learned that the majority of the MMORPG community is full of ignorant people, who I don't care to talk to. I love meeting new people around the world who are intellectual, nice people, but finding those types of people in a game is very hard to do now a days. The world is full of ignorance, especially while online.
6 - What do you do during Runescape i.e are you mainly mission based player or do you use it as a sort of social forum to chat to other Runescape players?
I level skills, do quests, collect money.
7-Are you in any clans in Runescape?
No.
8-If so what is your clan and what is it based around?
9-Do you have any friends from �the real world� that play runescape with you?
Yes. I used to play with multiple friends, but all but one has quit. I do play other GAMES with them online though.
10-Have you made any new friends on Runescape? If so do you communicate with them on MSN or via E-mail or anything like that?
Yes, I have met people. I generally keep in touch with them using MSN. I have met many friends while playing WoW who I have gone to meet in real life, and have became close friends of mine.
11-Have you ever attended any Runescape gatherings in �real life� and if so what were they and did you know the people you were meeting before Runescape?
No. I have gone to a WoW gathering with friends though.
12-Have you ever had any in depth conversations with any runescape member you didn�t previously know? And if so what do you feel were the benefits/downfalls of this?
Keeping an in depth conversation with someone going ingame is next to impossible. You are either going to offend someone around you (No matter what you say, someone will always be offended), or they refuse to open their eyes and look at things from another persons perspective.
13-What are you hobbies. besides Runescape obviously ;)
I absolutely love movies, more than I enjoy any game.
14-Would you spend more time offline or online on average every day?
Depends. I never put RS before real life, but I like to spend a full day on the weekend relaxing and playing GAMES.
15- Would you consider yourself a hero for filling in this survey?
Clearly.
