magic: probably soul wars is quickest at higher levels (90+) and for only two levels that may be best, if not, high alching may be better

strength: i'd do that at yaks or experiments or something from 59 to 65

90 - 92 is 18015 high alchs,

assuming you pay mid price for both nature runes and yew longs,

Nature runes = 223 gp x 18015 = 4,017,345 gp
Yew longs = 639 gp x 18015 = 11,511,585 gp
Total = 15,528,930 gp

Yew longs high alch for 768 gp
768 gp x 18015 = 13,835,520 gp

Total loss = 15,528,930 - 13,835,520
= 1,693,410 gp

--------------

Short answer - no, you'd need about 1.7m

I was thinking of crafting my own nats, but I was obviously wrong to think I could do so.

How long should soul wars take?

well..

you'll need 200 zeal for 90-92,

assuming you win every game (3 zeal per 23 minutes)

60/23*3 = 7.8 zeal per hour.

So for 200 zeal -> 200/7.8 = 26 hours.

ok heres what you do

train your stats so theyre good and god wars or you could even runecraft for money

but when you have money i recommend you burst/barrage 99 mage since its very fast and you get hp but you could also alch and stuff

edit: oh only going for 92 well then just get rc money or mine pure ess than alch

I would recomend Alching Ruby Rings at Zanaris as you only lose 26k per 1k alchs
Though it is sslllightly slower

What happened to the good old days where you could make huge profits from alching? *Tear*

And I doubt bursting 90-92 would cost 40mil

Combat
Ancients is the way to go if you're looking for PvE combat. I'd suggest PC - yeah, yeah... Get your boos and hisses over with *Waits while being drowned out by a negative studio audience*

...

Okay, now... (HISS!) Ugh... Done yet? Alright. I'd suggest either by going burst/barrage in Pest Control. There's always nice hordes of monsters that are itching to die at the hands of an effective AoE (Area of Effect) mage. One cast = tons of damage = lots of XP. The key, however, is patience! Though it's tempting to go in, staff blazing, it's hard to get quality XP by hitting only one monster. Wait for a group of 3 or so and trust me, you'll get your minimum damage in a few casts.

When you're against single mobs or PvP combat, might I recommend God spells? Either one will do, but to get the most out of it, get your magic up to Charge, which will enable you to hit up to 30 damage a shot. When it comes to combat magic, the more damage, the more XP you get.

For out and out efficiency and for "Mage Grinding", might I suggest the various classic Earth spells? For their cost, it's the best damage and XP in comparison to Fire spells, as Earth spells uses less air runes than Fire spells and the damage difference is almost negligible.

A Very Biased View On The Use Of Nature Runes
Alchemy is the art of turning junk into gold. So why are people buying junk to turn into gold at a loss? Come to think of it, it's not really that great a spell to be burning nature runes into, unless you don't care about losing money in the process. Thanks to the new animation, it's not even that quick anymore. Oh well, to each his own, but I, in my very biased opinion, have a better way to use Nature Runes.

Mid-High Level Mage/Mining Superheat!
This will end up netting you a lot of XP and coin at the same time. If you can mine and smelt mithril, you can earn mining, smithing, and mage experience by Superheat Mining (A guide's around here somewhere - dated, but still good, believe it or not). With this, you'll end up having access to an unlimited amount of nature runes for your leveling needs.

Well, uh, that's about it if you're looking for mage XP. I think my own methods are outdated, so I'll probably be researching to see if what I'm doing's even close to decent.

Well, here's me throwing in my two cents!
