It's whatever you want it to be. For my pally I have skinning/Leatherworking.

The best one would be blacksmithing, but Engineering is really fun (300 goblin)

The paladins need the range in PVP.

Blacksmithing is a waste of cash.

PvP paladins depends on DPS and melee combat, for SoC to proc.

Alot of really good Blacksmithing stuff is BoP, and the bombs are sort of hard to make, thats why no one really uses them.

For PvP engineering is always good, but still id go with blacksmithing for the gear

Well do I want to spend over 400 gold making a sword I could find on a boss in Mara?

And I always found bombs easy to make...

Name one good BOP Blacksmithing thing besides the trinket, because that is easily replace by a pvp trinket.

and name a sword that costs 400g to make that can be replaced by a maraudon sword.

Pretty much every crappy item you can make with blacksmithing can be replaced easily.

Okay, it cannot be replaced by Mara, but you get the point, ONE Raid. Not even a 20 or 40.

And how many people can go to MC, every week (it resets once a week) AND outroll or outDKP when the item drops?

Lionheart Helmet Is the best BoE Fury Warrior helmet in the game.

Heartseeker is the best dagger you will find until The Lobotomizer, which you need to be Exaulted w/ Stormpike (Alterac Valley)

ALL of the Dark Iron plate armor, which is the best tanking armor for MC, is made w/ blacksmithing

Blackfur Is the weapon i am currently saving for, and only one person on my server can make it, and check out how kickass it is! For a polearm spec arms/fury warrior, you cant get better

and finally, in order to get the legendary Sulfuras, hand of Ragnaros, not only do you need to be really lucky to get the eye of sulfuras off Ragnaros, but you need a BLACKSMITH to make Sulfuron Hammer.

And whats the best thing an engineer can make? Arcane Bomb ? Yea, 10g a piece and can only be used once, and isnt that good unless there is ag roup of magic users. Core Marksmans Rifle ? That is just as replacable and exspensive as any other gun an MC hunter could get.

Point- Blacksmithing is better for a paladin and engineerng.

Anyways, Please think towards Tier 3 > Blacksmithing.

Yeah. I'd probably be crying before I got all that.

Alot more PVP Wins > Bad gear that can get replaced and the hassle of leveling.

think about the normal player, once a week MC and BS can make some items even better than MC items/

edit: also, all the new NR and FR items are CRAFTED, for a MT in Naxx you need the FR armor that BS MAKE! Checkt he Argent Dawn part

the gnomish death ray is unpredictable and not good in PvP, basic bombs are but PVP moves so fast it usualy doesnt matter. And once again, have you ever even done MC? Its not like Maraudon, you dont just re run it with a 60 to run you through. It takes time, skill, and luck to outroll. Think of all the factors

I love using bombs, they have save me countless times on Preists, Mages, and Warlocks.

If you are a normal player, sure, Then go and pick up BS Right away! But you will still find better items.

Obviously they won't leave a profession out. And your right, honestly, SOME people will need BS.

But uhm, you still missed the point...

I'm wasting so much time, so much money, to get some stupid profession I don't even want, and that will become predictable.

Please look at the Offical WoW boards and ask them...

Obviously you COULD runa n instance, but yeah, lets just go run Naxx and get all the geare, pffft, who needs taht enchanted thorium when i could just get Dreadnaught. /slap

And your not thinking about PvE, your thinking about PvP. BS is good for both.

Geez Zep, from your first to last post you've just gotten more and more arrogant. Stop acting like you're such a genius, you're reminding me of Aroy. If you don't care about what the fanatic-infested official boards have to say, then why should anybody care how long you've played and crap? What you know is how you play and that is all. This is a game so treat it as one. Stop trying to force your personal style on others. For the record, any guide I have seen says that paladins should be engineers and warriors should be blacksmiths. And last time I checked, you have had a level-60 warrior for quite some time, and you had a paladin that was only level 32. Coincidence? I think not. Remove head from ass, kthx.

As an added note, I don't use engy to make the rifles for profits.

Or arcane bombs.

A small iron bomb can be used while thrown and decapitates for 2-3 seconds.

Its a dream come true...

My paladin is 45, and i have a 300 goblin engineer. My paladin is 200 blacksmith. I never gloated about how long ive played. Im giving my poinion and debating with 12bye

Read your own posts and notice how you sound. I didn't say you were gloating over how long you played, but you act like you know everything, and you don't give a crap what the official boards say. This was just a poll, I don't think this sad argument was what Dezao was looking for. You aren't just debating 12bye, you're being an asshole. And you're not in a place to tell him he isn't proving anything when you are speaking only from your experience with blacksmithing warriors and a mid-level paladin.

I only speak what I know, and I try to never lie.

I come from PVP servers, so I try to stick with what I know, Zep, what can blacksmithing do for PVE + PVP? Trinket is useless, Gear gets replace PVE.

Or is MINORLY better for the cost of ALOT more gold.

BY THE WAY: To get those orange Artifacts, The Hand of Raganos, or some other epic, YOU NEED TO MELT THE BARS BY ONYXIAS BREATH.

Therefore, you have to raid to get your artifacts.
