What exactly are you trying to accomplish here? The talents you've mentioned are a disorganized mix of smiter, healer, and pvp survivability talents. So which of those roles do you really want to excel at? Smiter, healbot, or pvp?

EDIT: Goddamnit, death. Any holy priest that doesn't spec into imp divine spirit is SERIOUSLY gimping themselves. And you leave out stuff like healing focus... /sigh

Well it's tough to get together a good smiter build pre-60, but I'm gonna give you two options.

Option #1- this build will help you not run out of mana, while keeping your damage pretty high. Also, you will be able to be a great healer with this build. Stack up spirit, damage and some crit with this, and you'll be smiting everything to hell :)

Option #2
This is more of the classic smiter build. You'll do insane damage, even on par with heavy shadow builds, but at a cost- you will run out of mana quite quickly. Hopefully spirit tap and meditation should keep you from having TOO many problems with going oom, but if you're going through chains of sol proc'ed smites, your mana will get burned through quite quickly.

Both these builds have emphasis on solo play- you might disagree with me, but I put in 5/5 spirit tap, because it's really your best way of regenerating mana while soloing. Also, the reason I went 2/2 healing focus is because of all the talents that I've specced into, this is the only one that I can honestly say saves my life on a daily basis. No joke.

But yeah, this is your choice- more burst damage, or more mana effeciency. Both will be decent healing builds, but #1 will be great, in that you will regenerate a LOT more mana with imp DS.

Your all noobs, shadow spec till 50 then Holy spec. Everybody will want a Priest in their Group so 50+ leveling is a breeze. No special talent combination to make you more uber...

I am but 1 person. What can 1 person achieve? I am going to find out.

Welcome to BC?

If you don't think shadow priests are viable for raids/5 mans, you're just showing your own ignorance.
But hey, if you want to turn down over 100 mp5, and 800 hp5 (that's what I do, and my gear is far from being complete), be my guest.

And if you want to try leveling a priest shadow, before you get key talents like darkness and shadow weaving go for it, but you're going to hate it. Your VE won't be able to keep you alive, you'll go oom, and then have to spend a large portion of your time wanding and healing yourself (which you will do poorly with a full shadow spec).

EDIT: Also, solo leveling a holy/disc heaing spec priest (what I assume you mean by holy) is just as bad. You'll either have to split your points into healing and smiter talents and do poorly at both, or, once again, spend most of your time wanding. Sure you can group, but you'll have to do like 4-7 instances for each level. Not exactly a good use of your time imo.

It is good to instance from 50 onwards, there are planety of quests that go with the instances that will also give bonus experience, and don't tell me what are useful in raids, we cleared Karazhan in 3 Days with 2 Holy Priests, 2 Locks, 1 Ret Pally, Me Prot Warrior, 1 Hunter, 2 Mages, 1 Rogue, 1 Shaman.

I am but 1 person. What can 1 person achieve? I am going to find out.

Yeah, but that's a good mix. It all depends on the mix of classes in every instance, raid, etc. Shadow priests are VERY helpful during long fights, especially. Healers get the *mp5, so they don't go oom so easily and explode the raid. Shadow priests ALSO help healing.

Oh...Umm...Err....Well I stayed up alot of the time to go on FGF, after I failed my last Vet Poll, I got good feedback, I decided to take a break from FGF, and started only going on MSN during my Aus time... Go on www.armory.worldofwarcraft.com and look up the following people from Eonar: Ignation, Isy, Aonir. There's more, as well, a helluva lot more. They're some of the most kickass shadow priests AND they raid. They're usually top in the DPS and help with the mana and healing. So...
