ok ive done the disk read error fix hundreds of times for my friends but this time i t ugged on theouter case (the part with the reset and eject buttons on) and the cable come out so is there a way to reatch it i tryed plugging it but it wont go in is there a way to reatachet

Yeah, I had to plug mine in when I got a no solder mod chip. If it came form the PS2 you have to unscrew bottom and look in theres a clip that you either have to slide it in or open and clasp it. Igf it came from the Cover thing i don't rememebr.

i managed the reatch the clip and get it working but know i have a new problem as the disk wont spin any more i check all the cables and that but it wont work the game disk dosent spin

You can just call sony and tell them send in your ps2 they will fix it or depending on the problem give you a new one.
