hey guys i am new to this forum, i can normally fix pc and stuff, but its just that my ps2 is giving me the **** atm, i just purchase tekken 5, 2 days ago, it works great yesterday, but today my ps2 is just crapping out on me, the game just go silent and FREEze, it also happen in other game such as NFS: underground and burnout, its practically happen in those high graphic ps2 GAMES. and sometime my ps2 just won't boot up at all, the red light just keeps flashing and i have to leave it there for days before it get back to normal. Sometime in GAMES such as burnout the game just stutters aswell, i believe its a issue with the lense. i ave tried cleaning the lense it works great for 15min than its back to the same problem, and when these problem occur the ps2 makes a pretty loud clicking sound.

I was wondering is there any solutions to these problem, geez how come i can't fix the ps2 how i fix pc's

Its dieing.. Clicking from a comp or Console tend to means its gonna die very soon.

hey man thanks for your quick reply, yeah i thought so because this is the same thing about computer HDD, when you hear the clicks it mean it is about to say bye bye.

But is there any solutions to those game stutters, and i can't adjust my laser as there is a small cover that blocks the white rotator thing.

well theres little you can do. if your warrenty is still in effect you should be able to send it back and get a new one FREE, all i can recommend. its hard to say really how to fix it id have to see it to give you a very good solution

Why dont you take a pic of the ps2, or video with sound so mm can hear and see it. Mercer is like god in these parts.
