Stupid X-Box Can't Post
My old X-Box works perfectly, however when you turn it on, you have to press the on/off button constantly for 20-30min. Any idea what might be wrong?

I'm getting a 360 and Wii. But the 360 doesn't support all X-Box games.

Wht do you mean?
It keeps randomly shutting off or somthing?
It's probably somthing to do with your power shorting out, it sounds like.

Ok, I turn the X-Box on and the power comes on, however the tv stays black (not turning "on") We have to press the open button over and over again for like ever to get it to turn "on".

wtf up with u dude if u read the whole post he says he getting a 360 and wii but he likes playing on his old x-box becomes the 360 doesn't support most or if any x-box games and he wants to continue the games he lvoes aswell as play new ones

It sounds like the power button contacts have worn out. Go get it fixed, it will be cheap.

Hello,
If you had your xbox for like 5-6 years, and you keep playing it all the time, never giving it rest, well it will mess up.
Or if you drink any soda or any drink near it well it could spill and lead to a big mistake. But i belive it might be on how old it is, because you say its old, and like i said, if you had it more than 5 years, well its going to ware out some time. And don't throw it away just yet, take it down to "Cd And warehousing" and see how much you will get off it. Or if where you live does not have a store like this, well my only suggestion would be go to a local store and see how much you can get off it. And if it is not any good, well, just throw it away then.
