Underground Console Mods	Can't Post

This website was recently posted on Slashdot for its newer tutorial on SNES overclocking. I've browsed it for a few weeks and it's pretty cool. Right now there are pages on overclocking the Dreamcast, SNES, and PSX, with a GC tutorial to come. There is also a page on upgrading the Sega Genesis CPU and installing Xbox modchips. Schematics for older systems are also available. It should be of interest to any console modder.

Modding is perfectly legal. You have full rights to create a backup file of any game or disc you own, but as soon as you get rid of the game of disc or whatever, you have to pitch the backups with it. Modding is the only way these GAMES will play, so they allow it. Perfectly legal. There is a clicky here somewhere....

actually mod chips are 100% once you buy taht consoel you can do what ya want with it. the illegal part is the BIOs as they contain M$ copyrighted material taht shouldnt of been edited. but there is a project going on the make workable bios not containing M$ product meaning modding will be 100% legal.
