Well this isnt really supposed to go here but i need help with my camera

Well this isnt really supposed to go here but i need help with my camera Can't Post
Everytime I try to take a picture, the camera always shows a red light just before the photo is about to be taken. And right afterwards i cant see the photo, and when i try to transfer it to the computer it says theres no image. Oh and the model is a canon Ixus 400.

Looks like your camera isn't saving it to the memory stick/card. Make usre that they are compatible, and that the stick/card is actually in the camera. Also check to see if you have filled up the card.

I didnt do anything to the camera, since i last took a picture. And I also just transffered the photos from the card, and then deleted them afterwards.

How did you delete them? You might have accidently deleted the directory that it puts the pictures in.

How did you delete them? You might have accidently deleted the directory that it puts the pictures in.
even if it did it would jsut remake the Directory or put them in the cameras root

Actually no. The camera stick stores it formatiing in the directory, so you would have to re-format your camera card.

if all hes done is deleted the DIR then it wouldnt be a probelm, its like installing software it creates the DIR , i know this cause i often delete the pics from my camera i jsut delete teh DIR and the camera makes a new one..

Lucky you. My camera is the ghetto, I had to format the stick beofre I stuck it in, and had to make a new DIR.

Yeah, see if your camera has a "format memory card" option. This will erase all the stuff on it and start with fress folders. On my camera the format option is in the same menu that lets you delete pictures..
