Xbox Mod Chips Can't Post

What exactly do Mod Chips do? I've heard they allow you to play burned GAMES, load GAMES onto it(completely absurd), play PS2 GAMES...and the list goes on. What exactly do they do, and are they worth it?

Yes, a chip can do all of those. But it isn't "absurd" It is true, but have fun soldering 26 wires. Unsure

Since when is the burning process hard? That was the easiest part out of it all when I modded my Xbox.

Re: [MM Mercer] Xbox Mod Chips [In reply to] Can't Post

Can you download the the GAMES on your PC and burn them there then play them in your modded X-box or do you have to burn it with your X-box?Unsure I'm not familiar with the X-box only played it a few times and the only GAMES I'v played are Timesplitters 2, Burnout 3 and Halo.

My PS2 has been playing up lately and so was thinking of buying a X-box and moding it, that way I dont have to give up all my PS2 GAMES I have.Smile

How long do you think it will take to get a mod chip for the X-box 360? If you can get the chips soon after it's release I might just wait for it's release. But like I said, i am not the familiar with the X-box.Shocked

Okay, thanks for the reply.

I always wondered what the GAMES labelled PS2 etc on Download programs were for, Never knew untill I accessed this forum that you got PS2 mod chips.Unsure I knew about the x-box mods but didnt really know about being able to play PS2 GAMES on it. Does anyone know if you can play gamecube GAMES too? If so that will clinch it for me as I dont want to buy a gamecube just for Zelda and Final Fantasy although I can get one locally for £30.

What do you mean by that? I feel it is a legit question, I am new to this and I dont know anything about an X-box and I am trying to find out as much as I can before I get one.
