AN EMPTY FUCKING CHAIR

So one night I'm feeling a little off after some creepy reading in the bath, but I figure I'll be fine. I get out, still feeling a bit creeped, and not getting better. Then, as I turn off the heatlights and turn on the regular darker light, it flickers for a second and I hear an odd noise. The lights fine up, but then I see two ripples in the bath and two wet spots on the floor, none of which were there a second before, in a clear line from the open (but curtained) window to the door. Naturally, I'm unbelievably [Expletive Deleted]ign freaked out, so much so that I just stand there not moving, for what turned out to be an hour. Then, though, pulling myself together long enough to try to run the gauntlet to my room, I open the bathroom door hard, and am about to leap out when not three metres in front of me there is an EMPTY [Expletive Deleted]ING CHAIR, just sitting there. There is no [Expletive Deleted]ing way it was in the hallway before, and everybody else in the house is asleep and have been for an hour before I got in the bath. Of course, I [Expletive Deleted]ing flip, slam the door, shut the window, put every single thing that moves in the bathroom in front of the door, and hide under two wet towels oout of line of sight from the mirror. I stay awake all that night, for six hours, until I see sunlight coming from behind the window, and I clean up everything and tell nobody.
