Ok, I assume you installed it.

Now Right click it:

This will pop up.

The virtual CD/DVD-ROM Menu is for managin your disc images.

The Emulation Menu is in change of managing what security system you want to copy, just in case the disc you have has a security system on it. You can find which discs have what security features on them by using this link: (site is down ATM) For example, Diablo 2 uses SecuROM emulation. You click that security feature when you mount the disc so you can play it properly. The daemon tray icon will turn green if you have any emulations on.

The options are just for some more general features that affect how Daemon tools starts and runs.

Help is pretty explanatory, along with Exit.

To mount an image, first go to the Virtual CD/DVD-ROM Menu.

With the 'Set Number of devices...' Menu, you can set the number of virtual drives you want to make. This will allow you to mount more than 1 CD image at a time, just in case you are some sort of freaky multitasker.

Unmount all drives un-mounts all the CD images you have mounted ATM.

The top one, 'Device 0', should be clicked to get you started. Don't bother clicking device parameters unless you want to change the letter or some other super techy crap. Just hit mount image.

You can use one of these CD image filetypes to mount with Daemon tools:

.ISO's and .CUE's seemed to be the mostly widely used types.

Click it, and Daemon tools will automatically mount your image, and it will likely boot up all by itself. If you wanted to make your own .ISO images, torrent a program called MagicISO, with a keygen.

bye.

Nope, trying to get an old version of Autocad to work without the CD.
