Disc Scratches (Move this to Console repair) kkty Can't Post

Having some problems with this 360 disc (NCAA 2K7) I recieved for Christmas. When ever I begin to load the game (The loading screen right before actual game play), my 360 FREEzes up, and gives me this error: "The disc is unreadable". Check the website for support blah blah (Thier Disc support was full of crap, "Clean the disc, if it dosen't work, your screwed"). Anyways, I took my GAMEStop disc cleaner ran it through there, then lightly applied some rubbing alcohol. Did it again, popped the disc in...nothing. So, I searched for some solutions, and found some stuff like applying toothpaste, and some polishing agents, which I'm not sure if I should try right now. I KNOW it's not an issue with the disc being dirty, or smudged, I cleaned it several times. I also tried running other GAMES, and they happened to work fine. This problem has not happened before, the game worked fine for me in the past. I'm likely going to upload a picture tommorow.

All help appreciated.

Well, G' Night.

Rub dish soap all over the back side of the disc and leave it like that for about 3 minutes, then come back and wash it off. that usually gets rid of most small scratches. it depends on the brand.

Jump out of bed as soon as you hear the alarm clock!! You may also find it useful spending five minutes each morning saying to yourself "Every day in every way I am getting better and better."
