Error loading O/S on start up

Error loading O/S on start up Can't Post
When I go to boot my computer after a week or more of inactivity its more slow than usual. Its not even decting the '' masters '' on the first window of the start up. Then Boom on the second window when its about to switch to the '' windows xp window'' I see Error Loading O/S (I found O/S is for operating system...). Now to fix the problem I just reboot about 10 times. But each time I see the message it needs more booting to start it up.
BTW it doesn't do it at each start up but only few ones...

If any know the problem let me know.

Do one of three things:

1. Reinstall Windows
2. Install a BSD Unix because nobody likes Linus Torvalds
3. Do a barrel roll

Do one of three things:

1. Reinstall Windows
2. Install a BSD Unix because nobody likes Linus Torvalds
3. Do a barrel roll
1. It's a physical hardware problem
2. Nobody likes him but linux is okay
