Help me please.. [Monitor] Can't Post

Alright, Here is what's going on. Crazy

I turn on my PC and my monitor goes on for half a second, and goes to a black screen like the blank screensaver, but it's not a screensaver, you can turn off the monitor and turn it back on and it does the same thing again. Then I just kept doing it and it finally came back on then I just put it on a screensaver so now I wont turn off the monitor so it will work always.. So I did that.. Then better enough windows update came along and restarted my PC with it without asking me so my monitors doing it again, and now it wont stay on after playing with the botton a few times, this is hard to understand but then read it twice and you will get it, Pleeaaseee help.

The problem isn't your monitor, but I think its your fan.

LOL.

Okay, well, The same thing happened to me, only my fan wasn't working and my computer overheated.

So like, The computer diddnt work right and I had to get another.

And by diddnt work right, I mean the same thing wrong with Andys.

It's a hardware issue, your monitor sounds fuxed. Since it's already screwed, unplug 'er, and take the face plates off. See if the wires from the button are connected properly. If they are, I dunno. If they aren't, get some solder and a blowtorch out.

bye.

Borrow another monitor that works and test it. You can't be 100% sure the problem is with the monitor until you do that.
