If anyone uses torrents look here. Can't Post

I'm currently downloading And1 Streetball PS2DVD.
Does that mean I need some high end software or hardware installed onto my computer? Or can I just use ISOBuster?

It's wierd, the file list says
et-and1.r00
et-and1.r01
et-and1.r02
And it goes on til
et-and1.r72
Then the last file is
et-and1.rar

That's rar files, just install WinRAR, and extract it, it will have an image in it, download DVD decrypter and burn it using DVD decrypter. You still need a hardware modchip or software modchip to play the game.

As said it's a rar file, just extract the mail fail with winrar and it should produce an iso. If it's a ps2 game though I'm not sure how easy it is to burn the iso.

oh and

you cant burn PS2 files to a DVD/CD. you will need to find some form of PS2 Emulator

I didn't plan on burning it, I wanted to see if I could play it on my PC.

No, that answer is yes, most ps2 GAMES will be emulated on the PC, just get pcsx2, but you need a hyper threaded CPU, or a dual core to run the GAMES at acceptable speeds, you also need a pixel shader 2.0 video card, 1.1 the least, if you don't have a pixel shader 2.0 or 1.1 compatible video card, then your only option will be to choose software mode or Fixed Pipeline mode.

Thats for running emulated files. This isn't an emulated file.

..................
You open the emulator, choose the CD/DVD plugin, there is a plugin which allows you to choose PS2 images.
I don't understand what you mean by "emulated file"

Yeah, I torrented this game and tried it with this emulator and I read the guide and it said I needed a real PS2 BIOS chip. Fuck that. I might as well BUY a PS2.

Um, you can download that, google SCPH 30001 or another ps2 version.

Re: [darkdemon] If anyone uses torrents look here. [In reply to] Can't Post

yo! new question, same idea. welll sorta. i torrented ff7 and the RAR file opened fine(i made another post about this before i saw this forum) and the application downloaded to the HD just fine. all the disks ("iso") are with the RAR along with the "Final Fantasy VII - Install Disc.iso" so everything is there and stuff but when i try to run the application it asks me for one of the three disks to be inserted, WTF!?

i was assuming that i have to load each iso disk to an actual disk and play it that way but i dont even know if thats correct or even how to do that! any help is greatly appreciated! thanks!!!

Yeah, you use that program to "mount" the disk, just like you would be putting it in the CD drive. Expect to have to restart before you can install it (after you try installing) that's normal.

It's 2000, and XP is newer than 2000.

Read the documentation.

Turn on all of the emulation options for Daemon Tools, but right clicking the icon near the clock and...well, turning them on.

That happened to me, and you have to find the topic in the Daemon tools forum; it involves some registry editing. I didn't find it worth it.
