Linksys upgrade are failed Can't Post
I recently got a new Linksys router, it's the WRT54GS v6 model, I tried uploading the firmware to sveasofts since the linksys stock firmware has less features and is slower.
When I downloaded the stable firmware that should work with my router, the router told me "upgrade are failed"
I tried reseting the factory defaults but it didn't work, what's wrong?

You [Expletive Deleted]ed up your router with hacks.


Buy a new one. Does the router work? TRy going to your router's IP address and messing with the settings.

Yes it works, but it's constantly disconnecting, and I'm getting pissed off.
I got a firmware from the linksys website and the upgrade was successful, but it's still disconnecting, and I think it's slow because my family are complaining of slow Internet.

it keeps disconnecting because of the encryption key renewal. i dont have that on. i just use the MAC filter

Encryption key? Does that have anything to do with a wireless setup because I turned off wireless.
