Question on anti-viruses Can't Post

Is it possible to have 2 different antiviruses(not running at the same time) on 2 different accounts?

Eg
Account 1 has/only runs Norton

WHILE

Account 2 has/only runs Avast

It's a bad idea to have 2 different ones running on the same computer at the same time - it causes a lot of issues with the system. I suggest sticking to 1, but with 2 it *might* work, but you'll notice GAMES slowing down and other performance problems (if not crashing issues).

...you'll only notice it affecting your game speed if you are running a scan with both at the same time while playing a video game. Which is, needless to say, stupid. If they are minimized in the background they won't affect much. I run AVG/Something else my dad installed (Some Symantec bullshit.), and I don't see a difference.

Most of the Anti-virus (AV) are installed as service on Windows platform, so it doesn't matter which account you have logged into. If service is set to run automatic, it will run before logging in with any account. You can install 2 AV and run at the same time but as other people suggested not a good idea because it will make PC run very slow. Although you can setup service as manual, and then start any AV you wish to run manually.
