USB Drive. Scandisk Cruzer Micro

I am having trouble with my Scandisk USB drive. Its a 1GB drive. The problem I have been having with it is deleting things on it and transferring things onto it. I have 8 files on it that I cannot delete and when I attempt to, a window comes up saying "Cannot Delete ---- Cannot find specified file. Make sure you specify the correct path and file name." I tried to format it, but a window will come up and say "the format did not complete succesfully." I cannot put things onto it either. When I try, another window will come up either saying the device is not ready or there is an i/o error. Help. I don't think there is something wrong with all of my USB ports on my computers (tried it on all comps).
