Why dosnt E explorer work? Can't Post
OKay,I have dial-up and (this is on my desk top) i can dial up to yahoo but when i try to go to ANY website it says that DNS error message that tells you to refresh he page. I tried Disableing all virus protection,i put up a new connection number,i put in a new IP address but nothing works. Any Ideas? Someone told me to turn off my modem but can you even do that?

I'm a bag of sandwiches.

kk lol. Turning off your modem is kind of a bad idea if you use dialup.

Connect to Yahoo, minimize it, and then open IE. Voila. IE requires an active internet connection to *gasp* connect.

Dude you dont get it. I can actually connect to the internet but i cant visit any websites. It gives me the DNS error page that tells you to refresh the page.

Make sure that IE has access through your firewall. I remember that for a while mine didn't and I couldn't figure out the problem.

Oh well i took it to the pc guy today. So i guess im going to pay him to tell me that my computer is outdated and that i need to get a new one.
