Yes, if you weren't running windows vista. Vista has a RAM eating GUI.

I don't think it would run halo and vista... vista is extremely buggy (as was XP when it first came out) so I would advise against even using Vista.

You can attempt to run Halo on your new computer, but I wouldn't personally do it.
