Alright, well...I'm as new as a new person can be Smile

and I need to find a good tutor who will teach me everything that I need to know, to be on my way of actually programming stuff and using C++. It is my Main goal to create a MMORPG, I do not expect to have it completed any time soon, but it would be nice to be on my way...

No its just all Programming forums are Dead. Pretty much people dont know VB5 , C++ , Java or anything like that thats why there is maby 25/50 Programmers in FGF. All the other programmers are leechers that steal source.

Do you seriously think it would be more interesting with a tutor? A tutor will be teaching you the exact same stuff. First thing you always do: HELLO WORLD! That's just the norm. I prefer reading from a book actually. Far more proffesional (they're trying to make money), and re-readable. A person is just using to answer questions (Why should I use a ___ intead of a ___)

Don't use a tutor for the basics. Use tutors for the hard/advanced stuff... give them a run for their money.

Wouldn't be any easier to learn if you had a tutor (for the basics at least).

Not sure... the reason I say to wait is because there is so much FREE learning material on the WWW for beginners. It's the advanced stuff that is hard to find for FREE if at all on the WWW.

It is my Main goal to create a MMORPG

Use Rpg Maker XP Postailty Knights Edition Enhanced (click it) You dont need coding, but its 2d, its got all the Tilesets, and characters on there already.
You can put your own stuff on there if you like.

try the book C/C++ by Walter Savitch.

it will be much more easier for you if you have a book so you can refer to it.
