Lol, Visual Basic is going to be useless and outdated in a few years.I really suggest going to with C++ and VC++ if you ever want to get anywhere in programming down the road. Any successor languages to the C family will have similar syntax and use. Visual Basic will only be around as long as Microsoft controls the majority of the OS market, which will eventually come to an end when someone makes something better. Also, VB is limited to only Windows development, whereas C++ can be used on several platforms, especially on Linux.
