I got this off of FGE before it closed down. It's one of Jakestah's tutorials for Photoshop 7, so props to him. 1. Make a new document, about 500x500 2. Make the foreground color black and background color white 3. Click on the Gradient and set the mode to Difference 4. Go crazy, clicking everywhere on the canvas. 5. Duplicate that layer. 6. Click Filter > Distort > Wave. Don't mess with the settings, just click OK. 7. On the Layers tab, set it to Lighten. 8. Do the Wave thing about 5 more times, Randomizing as much as you want. 9. Press Ctrl+E, then Ctrl+U. Check the Colorize option on the window that pops up. 10. Set your Hue and Saturation for whatever you want. That should give you a pretty neat design. Then just crop it to look like a banner. Or use it as a web page background.
