making a space on photoshop guide. BACKGROUND 1: open a new photoshop size, about 1600 by 1600 2: paint bucket it black, and add stars. (looks best in small groups and slightly scattered). 3: get a v. dark blue and apply some of that with the star groups. 4: now you have a back ground, but need some cool looking planets! THE TUTORIAL WILL NOW PROVIDE PICS 1: now make a eliptical marquee with this tool (dont forget to layer it): 2: now go to filter>render>clouds: 3: now go to filter>render>differnce clouds and repeat untill you get a design you like. (note you can change colors next) 4: now go to filter>render>lighting effects and change the colors, and the following: As you can see i changed it to omni, changed the properties and the colors. (red and orange were my selection- choose what you want.) 5: now to change the lens flare go- filter>render>lens flare and make this from 100 to 200%: also you can go filter>distort>spherize to get it a awsome sphere-like planet. Now you have a simple space on photoshop- but mess around with this, to advance it.
