Or, you can click the button on the Layers Palette (F7), like shown in this picture. Believe me, it looks the same on Windows:
1. Layer effects. These are used to, well, add effects. Very fun to tink around with. 2. Add vector mask. You don't need to worry about these until you get more advanced. They make it so you can resize a shape without it becoming pixelated on the edges. 3. Create layer folder. Used for keeping groups of layers organized. 4. Adjustments. Same as going to Image > Adjustments. 5. New layer. Click this to add in a new layer. 6. Delete layer. Must I explain it?
