i do like it, but if i had to criticize, i'd say that these bits should sorta fade out, instead of suddenly stopping and getting that hard line.
i like the simplicity though.

edit: i realise now that it's a more obvious line when its full size

The bottom area looks too... patched up. You can tell you just used the brush tool (or whatever its called, i dunno im not a pshopper lawl)

Try making this again with 16 bit color so that you can fix all of the gradient distortion.
