Rhinocerous is the best Computer Aided Drafting (learners program) there is on the market. After you are quite skilled with rhinocerous, get 3d Studio Max, that way you, with your basic skills, can make very nice looking renderings

And after you get advanced enough, I recommend Strata 3D CX, or Cinema 4D CE 6.
