I have Sams Teach Yourself Java 2 in 21 Days, but I hate how it doesn't take things in a logical order. Like, you don't learn conditionals until very far in the book (close to programming Swing interfaces and stuff).

Hey shut up- those Sam's tutorials are kickass, you've just got to get the really concise 12 and 24 hour ones. They're one of my favorite ways to get started on a language.
