Has anyone here ever participated in these competitions?

As for me, I'm basically too lazy and unskilled to do any of the marathons (the competitions where you don't have a ridiculously constrictive time limit), though I'm planning on doing a simple program to make a solution to the marathon problem with the countries and color printing.

But, either way, if any of you guys are hot-shot coders and want to try to get your hands on the $2,000 USD prizes, be sure to keep us posted here!

I went to one of them. A few people in my class participated in it. They had 5,000+ lines of code and they got 4th place.
