I need a person who knows java well. Can't Post
I wish i knew java but I dont.

Everyone (hopefully) has seen the password change screen. Then you see the little thing:

Current Password:________________________

New Password:___________________________

Retype New Password:_____________________



That little thing is a java applet, or script (see I know nothing about java).

Now, I'm going to cut to the chase... I have a way to access the password change screen, but I cannot do anything because I need to know that someones current password, which I would take a long time guessing.

I HAVE A SIMPLE SOLUTION.

In the source there is a LINK to the .jar file that runs this. Anyone with a good knowledge of java could probably alter it so that it doesn't run a current pass check or better yet, retrieves the current pass and then uses it for the check.

I am so very hopeful that this will work, and any java programmer is the key.

Good idea, but the only problem is you won't be able to affect what your script does to Jagex's Java script. (Me thinks)

Yes! Thank you for posing that question!

The link is to the applet correct? Well... change the link... Instead of using Jagex's script, host the new altered script on like walagata or something where it can be FREEly accessed. Then use that link instead of password-web.runescape.com's link.


EDIT: If someone did start working on this project, how long would it take for the applet to be finished?

I dont think it will work, but I've been doing JAVA for 3 years and I'll give it a shot. I'm pretty good at doing JAVA.

Lother is right.... everyone thinks that this is a hack... it is a mere edit if i may.

I DO NOT claim to hack runescap, but just be able to get onto anyones account at any time.

Though, if this works *im sorry people*, I cannot release this DIRECTLY, it is too risky. I WILL offer a service in which if you give me enough credible info to show you are the owner of the account (Less credible than recovery questions though) and for a small fee (probly 50k) I will get your hacked accounts back for you...

I do not believe it will work, but I'm working on it. Finding where they load the applets from currently. Gotta d/l the JAR for it. ;)

I think everyone dont really realize the meaning sucefully changing anyone pass, i mean, look on ebay, runescape cash worth a lot of real cash, thats sad but cool, you can get arround 15$ per million (im personally selling RS cash on ebay). Just imagine, u know anyone pass,u have unlimited runescape money, u have unlimited real money......... even if its almost imposible to, i personally think it worth the work of a lifetime, anyone who will succeed will just become rich....think about it and after say that u wont try.....
