Hello. I have been trying to play a lot of old wildtangent game demos, and none of them I have gotten to work. This is very troubling, because when you think about it we don't really treat GAMES as an art, instead, we as a society tend to view GAMES as nothing more than a product. Once the product has lost its market value, we are no longer allowed to view the product. When really it should be treated as a piece of art like it is. How would you like it if, instead of being transported to a museum, art was thrown in a garbage because the contract time ran out? I try to run a game, and it says "Object does not support this property or method." I asked wildtangent for help but they said "game is no longer supported so we won't help." The error is a javascript error. You can download one of their older GAMES (All of them have this error.) For instance you can download Sabrewing2 here: http://www.download.com/SabreWing-2/3000-7551_4-10173222.html I loved Sabrewing 2, I purchased it several years ago, but now I cannot even play the demo. All I wanted is to revist some of WildTangent's older GAMES, which I consider to be great experiences. If for some reason you do not wish to download the game (if you do you will get the exact same error, I've gotten the error on six completely different computers), I will describe the error in further detail: When the game starts loading, it displays a Javascript error dialog: Does not display the whole URL unfortunately... Betty Bad, a different WildTangent game, does display the complete URL in the error message, however. If you wish to debug Betty Bad instead, you may download it here: http://downloads.gamezone.com/demos/d3047.htm Also, I have visited several forums, and gotten no help from any of them (in-fact I was banned from one.) This is very disturbing, it reflects an attitude of indifference towards modern GAMES as an artform, a feeling that GAMES are not really a valid form of art that I find appalling and backwards minded.
