You can't make an RPG with VB. Use JAVA and make it use textures from .dat files and make it have a login thing. But other than that you can use RPG Maker. Google it, it should pop up somewhere.

You can't make an RPG with VB. Use JAVA and make it use textures from .dat files and make it have a login thing. But other than that you can use RPG Maker. Google it, it should pop up somewhere.

Javascript and Java programming are two different things.

So I suggest Java, or C++.

Years...to learn absolutly everything about Java/C++. You could make a program with little skills about Java/C++ but it wouldn't be a thing like Runescape.

Guys, I've been practicing JAVA and C++ for over 3 years now. I still can't create a RuneScape like game. It's too hard so I would recommend not trying.
