You can register for any one of those FREE web makers and then start off your website. Some of these hosters are very hard to use and If you are a beginner then I would stick to the easy ones.
Even though this host is really bad It will give you a really good idea of your personal website.

It has really bad templates and is spaced out too much, it is also quite slow and only lets you create 7 pages.
After you've got some experience then you can start using a better host.

That host is MUCH better. You cant really tell that it is made on piczo and it lets you create unlimited pages. It is very fast and very, very easy to use.

Now If you want to have a really good website then I would recomend making a HTML site. You need to know a coding skill called HTML. I'm sure nearly everyone has heard of it before. If you dont want to make a HTML website but dont want to learn the coding skill then there is a way. It isnt as good but it's still option.
You can try Microsoft Front page. What you do is juts normally type and copy and paste pictures and then when your happy with what youve done you press the preview button and it converts it into HTML. Once you have the HTML codiing of the page that you just made on front page I bet your wondering what to do with it. Well then what you have to do is go to http://www.FREEwebs.com. I know I said It is awful but if you use it in HTML it can prove to be VERY useful. When you are signing up for a FREE account instead of saying that you want a easy to bild website select the HTML design.
Then you log in and choose your page manager. Clear all the other stuff thats on there and then enter the HTML code that you got from front page. Once you have finished that you will see that your page is in your browser.
Getting on with HTML coding.
The option for doing HTML in front page isnt as good as doing one in the proper tool. But for this you will need to know HTML coding.

Now that you know HTML you can get the tool that you will need to make the site.
The best tool that you can get to make a HTML website is Mocromedia Dreamweaver mx. This tool is not FREE but it does come with a 24day trial and there is a FREE way of getting it, This way is illegal so you will have to PM me for it.

Domain names

Now then some of this bit isnt FREE but it is your choice if you want to get a domain.
When you join a FREE website hoster then you'll get something like www.FREEwebs.com/your website. Or www.yourwebsite.piczo.com. Now then this means that your website doesnt reach that much interest. You can get ones like .com .co.uk .org .net .info and many more. But these arent FREE. I have found that the best website for buying cheap domains is http://www.godaddy.com. If you want to make your address shorter but dont want to have to pay anything then look below at sub-domains.

If you want to make your address shorter but want to make your website FREE then try a sub-domain.

Making a forum

This is making a forum like our one Free Games forum.
There are quite alot of websites for making forums and here are most of the best ones:

Making a forum is very, very easy. Especially with InvisionFREE.
To make a category just click add category. Give it a name and then you have a category. Now you need to add forums to your category. So say I made a category of Runescape. I'd then make runescape forums like 'runescape market' and 'runescape 2' (There is no RuneScape 2 in the board directory). To add a forum just click add forum and make them in the catgory you made earlier. Its very easy.

1. Click "new forum"

2. You can choose to put a fourm in a category or a sub-forum in one forum, though you can not have a sub-forum in a sub-forum.

3. It asks you if you want to redriect, screw that button up.

• You can also have password protection, if you want specific people to go on.
• There are sutff like "allow [doHTML]?" This means if you want to post HTML in the forum.
• Tick "Allow IBF code", it's a type of markup similar to BB code
• I suggest you untick "Allow votes to bump topic"

4. PERMISSON MASKS ARE VERY IMPORTANT (you forgot this ADS!!!)!!!

• Read = can view forum; but cannot reply, attach, start topic, etc.
• Start = Start new topics
• Reply = can reply; cannot start new topics
• Upload = Can upload files using attachment system

Here are defualt permissons:

• Guest = Guests
• Validating = ONLY people who are under valadation
• Member = Regular Member
• Admin = Administrator, CHECK ALL 4 FOR THIS!!!
• Banned = banned people, suggest UNTICK all 4
