Well if you switch FREEwebs to HTML mode, you can upload the pages to it. I'm not sure how frontpage works though, does that write HTML for you or something?

i alrady tried copying the html coding from frontpage to FREEwebs but because my pictures are in my computer and the html code uses it to get them from my computer and not from the web it only displays text and not a single thing of my template

Don't copy and paste.
Upload.
Press the upload button in file manager and upload every single file you have made.
You should see it perfectly. If not then you forgot to upload something.

EDIT: Also if you can manage to find a FREE host with frontpage extensions (Very unlikely) then you can upload it direct from frontpage.

Just a warning it's going to be harder than that.. He'll want his webpage working, and you'll need to change all the image sources to just the image instead of C:\whatever\image.gif
It's gonna take you a while..

yes, well, that would depend how many images he has. If he has a whole lot, then yes it would be a pain in the ass... but if he were to send me a .zip file or something with all of them in it, and all with the right file names, then all I wouuld have to change would be the source path, which isn't too hard.

Put it this way.
He sent me a .RAR file of every image and page, RAR's are smaller that .ZIP's usually.. It was 25 MB.
Good luck. You'll need it. He offered to throw in 5 extra damn dollars and I still refused.

It's not the size, it's the number of files that makes it hard. trust me, I've built 4 web sites from scratch, and of those, I've had to move 3 of them from one host to another.

Uhmm.. Do you know how many images and HTML files would fit 25 MB?
I'll give you a hint: Lots.

uuummmm yes... quite a lot of html files would fit in 25mb... but I'm guessing that the 25mb isn't only html files... isn't there some pictures that take up any of that space?? How could he have 25mb of html???

OK I get your damn point.... if theres too many files I won't do it... but with ftp it's not hard to upload them, it's only the link paths... and if it works on his computer, then all the file names are right. Now go away and let me help him...

Wrong again.
Unless someone has that image at C:\my documents\whatever\ then it won't work unless you fix it up.. Which actually isn't that hard, I just couldn't be bothered.

Umm... no... because if he put all the files in a web site directory, which he did, there would be no need for a C:\ file path.

I am aware of that.
But that's what he's done.
And it's your job to fix it, appearently.
I'm going to leave this topic, now.
It's pointless. The problem is being attended to.
