In Silat one uses knives that are about 5-8 inches in length, no longer. No swords either. The idea is to observe your opponent, find a weakness, and draw them to you. You must also expect to come out of the battle with injuries, but the idea is not to win flawlessly, but to defeat them without any serious damage. This is the specialty of silat, along with multiple enemy defense, and damage control. (pain resistence)
meh.. y wait.. my opponents dont last thru my first strike.. and if they dodge/block that one theres a second coming immediately.. no chance to recover or think...
and if they last thru that.. then im impressed.. and they get half a second, maybe a full second if im slow that day, to try and anticipate my next strike..
my fights have never gone longer than the first 2 swings if i dont want them to.. lol which is a bit lucky for who ever im sparing with.. cuz the third one hits hard because i have a second to get ready and poised for it..
that pretty much sums up how i like to spar.. kenjutsu focuses on the fastest way to end the fight.. so thats wut i do.. i end it quickly
anyway.. back to the matter at hand...
Commander. Point me in the direction of the foe, whos life you want ended.
