But you could have at least took the picture somewhere where your house and crap wasn't showing. "Mage with wooden staff" usually belongs in a medieval type of setting.

The pattern on the wall inside that house is HORRIBLE. I'd say it looks gay, but it's much too ugly too have been picked out by a gay person. Your lawn-mower sucks, as does that "magic". You'd be better off to take a large brush, draw a squiggly line and filter/blur/etc a couple times and come out with something better.

The magic looking terrible doesn't mean a mage is unskilled, it means the artist is. Magic looks the same, an unskilled mage would just be casting "lower level" spells.

Your house is not just a "style", it actually sucks. I can find houses that look like yours here too, and for some reason they are only in poor neighborhoods. You know why? Poor people buy cheap houses. They're cheap because they're old. Proof: We have historical buildings that look like that are preserved by changing the siding etc. If it was just a "style" then they would use the same design - but they don't because it's not strong.

This is fact.

Here's another fact: Less than 18% of Internet users are American.

Anyway, chances are high that your family bought an old, weak house because it's cheap, or your country can't afford to replace/upgrade buildings.
