Why Pedro Is Leaving

Pedro has asked me to post the following:

He has left FGF completely, and will not make any more posts. This is unless the veterans (in his words) can learn to take a joke and to stop holding things against people that were done when the person was a new user.

If anyone would like to say anything regarding this to Pedro, you can reply to this and I will relay it to him.

Look, it's because the veterans are holding stuff against me from when I was a new user. A NEW USER! Damn, that was almost 5 months ago. Should it matter any more? NO! Have I lied since then? NO! Get over stuff some time, people!

I've been trying to prove that I was a better person... For almost 5 months. I think I've done a good job of changing my ways. Hell, I don't even play RuneScape anymore, and that's where the "Big Lie" forum was.

Pedro stop being a bitch seriously.. Use your brain.. ok first do something to make people happy make people feel welcomed by you and make a couple of guides and such to help people.. Pretty much all Im saying is that these vets are making discessions about you and your big decisions on what you do like if you made any guides to help the community out. So really all im saying is Help the community and the community would give you something in return..

Well, I did make a guide in the time I played RuneScape, a merchanting one. Then, I gave a guide on how to emulate Mac OS X on Linux. I don't know what else I can do. I don't see Nova writing guides, but I see him posting threads on how you relate to a tampon. And, lone and behold, he's a veteran!

And I am not a "bitch" as you so miaturely stated it, STH. A "bitch" is a female dog, not somebody who s mad because they have had grudges held against them at very conveneint times.

THats how I was, I scammed when I was a new user, but NEVER AGAIN did I do anything of the sort. Now almost all the veterans will not even consider me for veteranship because of a scam I posted OVER A YEAR AGO. Really, get over it.

Pedro, the title of "Veteran" means that you are highly respected. I really don't think we even know you well enough to say that. Now you seem to be bragging about posting guides. "Make me a veteran because I showed you a guide!!" Then you mention how Nova Bowser here hasn't posted any guides, and pick out a single post made by him and act like he is judged based on that alone. You ignore thousands of other posts made by him, and might I point out that you yourself have made less than a thousand.
This is not how it works. The community decides whether you are an outstanding member, not you. And storming out when you don't get your own way certainly doesn't give us a good image of you either.
Also, you keep bringing up how you have been here for 5 months. You have actually been here for a little over three months. That's definitely not "almost half a year".

Ah, but wait - there is more. You are complaining about the reasons given for not becoming a veteran. Well, I looked at the poll, and I saw only two people who actually said what you are so upset about as their reason: Loads O Fire said it, and Del said he agreed with Loads O Fire. But you didn't only get two "No" votes - you got twelve. I know there were other reasons. Mine personally was that you simply didn't stand out enough. You're nice, and make very decent posts, but have you really had a big impact on this forum?

In closing, grow up.
