(Americans) Will the U.S. change much? Can't Post

As we all should know, the Democrats out numbered the Republicans in our midterm election.

Do you think that we will change any? If so, how?

I think it will make this stop changing (as far as bills passed) in general. Bush vetos the dems, the dems don't have te 2/3 majority to override, we're stuck.
It's going to be interesting to see what's going to happen though. Hopefully it works for the better.

Our stance in the War in Iraq, first of all, I believe will not change. Bush was speaking to the Democrats on the news yesterday, and they fell into agreement that we're too far into Iraq, and pulling out would put us in a worse state.

But taxes'll increase, and drug money will decrease. Legalization of Same-Sex marriage'll probably be implemented federally also.

Same-sex marrage - probably right, but i don't care. As long as they keep it in THEIR life, it's fine with me.

Tax increas - not too sure bout that one. My teacher (whos loves to ramble) says that in the years he's had to pay taxes, they've never increased OR decreased.

If anyone feels like making a thread on Same-Sex marriage in the U.S. and is against it, I'll happily debate and totally own them at it.

The war will eventually end, what with new threats and new technology. Taxes will continue to rise most likely. The only thing that'll change (in the next few years), will be a new president. Thank god.

Condi will get laughed out of the Rep Primary.

I'm wondering if the dems will take a run at universal health care like so many other countries have done.

No.

The democrats are still pussy bitches, sadly I'd love to see investigations, accountability, and the Mr. Bush, no longer President in my eyes (That position requires respect), in jail for treason awaiting trial.

But at least now we'll have so much argument going on, that the Rubber Stamp Congress won't be able to [Expletive Deleted] anything else up.
