Personally, I prefer real life debates. On the Internet, you can't really tell people's emotions, or exactly how passionate they are about an issue.

In real life, things such as facial expressions, tone of voice, and excessive shouting (when things get heated) make debates very interesting and fun to participate in or watch.

Here.. It's just walls of text and excessive quotes. It gets monotonous after awhile.
